Enrolment Forecasting Trends Using Google Sheets Functions: A Basis for Decision-Making

State Universities and Colleges (SUC) has initiated programs to become proactive in the academic condition in providing quality services to its clientele in the future. This study aimed to forecast the curricular program's enrollment trend named: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS InfoTech) at Surigao State College of Technology (SSCT) – Del Carmen Campus using Google Sheets' Functions integrated with Machine Learning Approach. The Registrar's Office stores the historic enrolment data from 2013 to 2020, which was treated using the Linear Model. Forecast data has an r-squared of 0.963, 0.977, and 0.977 for growth, trend, and forecast, respectively. Hence, the resulting forecasts at present can support the administration's decision-making on the priority programs and services for the next years.
