Ruling on Watching Unregulated Programs and Series in Ramadan, According to the Purposes of Sharia

Abstract

Watching unregulated programs and series during the blessed month of Ramadan is
considered a violation of the necessary purposes (preserving the religion, preserving the soul,
preserving the mind, preserving offspring, and preserving money). Because if the necessary is
disturbed, then Al-Hajji and Al-Tahsini will be disturbed, but if these programs and series do
not violate the necessary purposes, then there is no objection to watching them, and God
knows best.
