Human Resources Capabilities in Digital Literacies towards Student Engagement through Asynchronous Learning Network
Main Article Content
Abstract
The occurrence of the unexpected phenomenon has resulted in the transition of several sectors
that includes the transition of student engagement from traditional literacies to digital literacies.
This research aims to figure out the analyses of human resources capabilities, digital literacy,
and asynchronous learning network towards student engagement. The data used for this
research is acquired through questionnaires, which are distributed to 287 university-level
students. The data are then processed using PLM-SEM as a method to investigate the effect of
the independent variables on the dependent variable using a mediator. The independent
variables used for this research are human resources capabilities, digital literacy, and
asynchronous learning network. Meanwhile, the dependent variable used for this research is
student engagement. The implications of this research finding show that human resource
capabilities, digital literacy, and asynchronous learning network have significant effects and
are highly relevant to student engagement during the learning process.
