Abstract

This research determines the effectiveness and acceptability of an Innovated Weighting Scale Device for on- site calibration of truck scale of DOST-RML Caraga personnel during calendar year 2020-2021 bases for Technology Adoption. The Technology Adoption of Innovated Weighting Scale Device for on- site calibration of truck scale was evaluated on the acceptability of its Effectiveness, Ergonomics, Safety and Health. Quasi-experiment method particularly survey research was employed on this study. Questionnaires were given to 25 DOST Engineers, 50 DOST Technicians, 50 Truck Drivers and 20 selected personnel LTO, DPWH for evaluation. Gathered data were treated using total weighted points, weighted mean, and t-test. Based on the findings and after a careful analysis and interpretation of the study, it is concluded that the Technology Adoption of an Innovated Weighting Scale Device for on- site calibration of truck scale meets the standards for weighing truck calibration scale. It was found out that the Technology Adoption of an Innovated Weighting Scale Device for on- site calibration of truck scale was “HIGHLY ACCEPTABLE” in terms of its Effectiveness, Ergonomics, Safety and Health. It is recommended that the Technology Adoption of an Innovated Weighting Scale Device for on-site calibration of truck scale by the end users.
