Abstract

This article examines the issues of formal and informal Internet communications in a modern
digital society and their impact on public opinion. At the same time, the importance of
information received by people from the global Internet today is revealed. The article also
examines the reasons for the expansion of the capabilities of the computer information
system, the rapid increase in the number of websites of various content, and the increasing
urgency of the problem of information extremism on the Internet. In addition, the procedures
for the formation of directed information have been studied, including the psychological
impact on a person through computer networks, signs of the content of a destructive
component, and the use of information on the Internet as a tool that distorts the content of real
objectivity.
