Mobile Chat Application System

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to facilitate chatting between registered users of this application and the major work of this research work is real – time translation and it has been done using Google Translation API. In this work, the connection is established between registered users, followed by one – to – one communication, with future enhancements planned for showing local users in nearby locations and the user could be able to chat with nearby users and group communication for communicating with many users. The chat application is developed by the inspiration of WhatsApp with a smooth and responsive user interface. The users could first create / register into the account and will import their contacts then start their conversation with the users in real – time. The chatting system is implemented using Firebase’s Cloud Firestore, providing users with a fast and scalable messaging platform. The chat application’s user interface is designed using the Flutter framework, providing a smooth and a responsive experience for users and Firebase as a backend service, the system aims to develop a chat application that allows the users to share information and multimedia content. The combination of Flutter and Firebase provides an efficient way to develop modern and powerful chat application for Android platform.
