Abstract

the prosthesis or prosthetic implant is an artificial device, which can used be replaced for
missing body part, that can be lost through trauma, disease, or a condition present at birth. its
set to restore the normal functions of the missing body part. Its may be created by hand or
artificial degined, a interface which helps to creat design and analyse that creation with
computer-aided technology 2-D and 3-D graphics as well as analyse and optimize the tools.
A prosthetic arm works for select signals from a user's muscles. When a user affect their
prosthetic arm and flexes muscles in its continuous limb just below their elbow; special
sensors to analyse a small commonly generated electric signals, and convert these into direct
and equal prosthetic hand movement. These prosthesis were high cost that may range
between 50000 to few lakhs rupees which is not covered by the insurance. The average life of
a prosthesis is 5 years. In between these 5 years if the prosthesis does not fit to the patient due
to physical weight loss or gain, the money spent on prosthesis will be waste. This statement
aptly fits for children. So in order to design a low cost prosthesis, a prosthetic arm is
presented in this paper. This may be quite low cost and also less durable. But changing in
physical size of the arm however leads to designing or buying of new prosthesis. Hence this
method will be suitable and easier to design prosthesis for children.
