Green Inventory Model for recycling food waste
Main Article Content
Abstract
Food waste is a significant problem that many developing nations deal with. Food waste at landfills has the potential to release a significant amount of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, contributing to climate change and global warming. A surplus of greenhouse gases could have catastrophic effects on future generations by warming the world. Therefore, everyone must be aware of the value of recycling in order to protect the environment. Recycling is crucial to building a society that is more sustainable since it reduces and destroys the amount of food waste produced by the industry. The goal of this project is to improve an inventory model with a focus on recycling food waste while taking environmental concerns into account. Additionally, one recycling process that is advantageous for the environment and the economy is the landfill method, which is used to reuse and recycle food waste from the industry. Through the use of recycling, this approach generates the least amount of waste while yielding the highest profit. The proposed paradigm is demonstrated using a numerical example.
