Abstract

The mathematical model of environmentally conscious multi-objective Pythagorean hesitant
fuzzy transportation problem with several items is formulated. The mode of transportation
plays vital role to develop the ecofriendly transportation problem. In this situation, selection
of best mode is much needed to create environmentally conscious transportation problem.
Possibility degree method is used to select the best alternative from the available alternatives.
Here all the parameters of the transportation problem are considered as Pythagorean hesitant
fuzzy numbers. New hesitant ranking function is proposed to convert Pythagorean hesitant
number into crisp number. Weighted Tchebycheff matrices programming method is used to
solve the multi-objective transportation Pythagorean hesitant fuzzy transportation problem
with several items. To examine the proposed method the numerical example is solved with
the help of LINGO software.
