Generation of Cancellable Template in Multimodal Biometrics Using Polar Decomposition with Mod-Eigen Technique
Main Article Content
Abstract
A process of creating a template by converting the original pixel values into modified pixel values using any accepted mathematically proven technique is called cancellable template generation. This resultant cancellable biometric must have the property of irreversibility to avoid the hacking of original format in handling biometric traits. In this work, the implicit creation of cancellable template with irreversibility in multimodal biometrics such as finger print & iris has been proposed. Here polar decomposition is used to modify the polar pixel value of image matrices. Then Modulo Eigen method is used to generate cancellable template with irreversibility in improving the identification process in Multimodal Biometrics System (MBS).By using this methodology, the identification of client is proved perfectly better. This work is named as”PDMET” method (Polar Decomposition with Modulo Eigen Technique) is proposed to solve the concern of storing the image template. The suggested effort is evaluated with the finger print and iris of 50 volunteers of veerapandi village in Coimbatore locality. The experimental results show the better, enhanced effort of the proposed system.
