Abstract

This paper aims at considering the critical cases and the paramount importance of preserving
the lives of patients in hospitals and especially in Intensive Care Units (ICU), it has become
very necessary to provide them with continuous care 24 hours a day. However, nobody can
do it alone, so this paper explains the concept of a healthcare monitoring system where a
patient's heart rate, body temperature in Fahrenheit and more can be monitored through
specially designed sensors. If there is anything abnormal in the patient's vital signs, then the
signs are recorded on the doctor's phone screen (via Wi-Fi). And even if the doctor is not
with the patient in the same ward, he will also be notified by e-mail sent to him immediately.
This paper aims to raise awareness of the importance of modern technology in the medical
field and how it speeds up many processes and saves many lives so that it can be used in
hospitals, small health care centers, and even in homes to help families suffering from
chronic diseases.
