Performance Analysis of 11 Kv Radial Distribution System - A Case Study
Main Article Content
Abstract
Electricity distribution is the last step before it is sold to the general public at retail prices.
The steady state performance of power distribution system is major concern in recent years
for better voltage stability analysis. Therefore, an efficient load-flow study is essential. The
prime objective of the paper is to implement an efficient computational load flow method for
36 bus real time radial distribution feeder located at Balaji Colony, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The performance analysis of above distribution system is evaluated for various operating
power factors and diversity factors by BIBC & BCBV distribution load flow method. In
addition to this, static load modelling is also performed for better system planning. Based on
the fuzzy logic technique, an optimum location of capacitor placement for power loss
reduction and enhancement of voltage profile with economic validation was implemented in
MATLAB environment. Further, the simulation results are compared and validated with the
energy consumed by the consumer
