Abstract

Nanoparticles with expanding medical and technological applications are usually created
using various processes that have a detrimental impact on the environment. Green chemistry
can generate nanoparticles in an environmentally friendly approach. The use of plant extracts
in the preparation of nanoparticles is an alternative conservative method. At the same time,
some side effects of using nanoparticles on vital enzymes must be discovered. In our
research, gold nanoparticles were prepared using an extract from the leaves of Cordia myxa
L., and their spherical shape and average size were demonstrated using scanning electron
microscopy (FESEM). The effect of AuNPs on the ALP enzyme was tested, and its
effectiveness was found to be directly affected by using increasing concentrations of AuNPs.
