Model Order Reduction Using CCF Representation and Genetic Algorithm

Resumen

The work pertains to the order reduction of higher order system in time domain. For obtaining the reduced order model, first the controllable canonical form representation in time domain is found. Then the genetic algorithm is applied to determine the matrices of reduced order state model. The proposed methodology is tested on a tenth order single machine infinite bus system. The efficacy of proposed method is proved by the validation parameters obtained using the step responses.
