Resumen

Over the course of the last ten years, the field of computer vision has gone from being a relatively
unexplored area of research to being one of the most well-known and widely discussed areas of higher
understanding. Computer vision is not just a technical area of study, but it is also a topic of
neuroscientific and psychological investigation. This is because it is widely assumed that advances in
computer image processing and comprehension studies would yield insights into how the human brain
operates and vice versa. Because of the inherent nature of the subject, computer vision is not only a
technological area of study but also a subject of neuroscientific and psychological research. Because
of the great curiosity and interest in the subject, the author has proposed developing an application
that would provide users with access to a specialized computer capable of doing in-depth face
analysis. This application will be built using the OpenCV open-source computer vision project
established by Intel and the.NET framework provided by Microsoft.
