Contenido principal del artículo
Resumen
The primary objective of this research is to analyze the barriers to entrepreneurship for rural
women. Considering that a secondary objective of this study is the identification and ranking
of these barriers, it can be stated that this research is practically oriented. This present study is
descriptive and employs a case study method. Initially, seven significant barriers were
identified. To rank these barriers, the TOPSIS method was employed. For this purpose, a
decision matrix was created, where the columns represented criteria (10 experts), and the rows
represented options (7 barriers to rural women's entrepreneurship). The results indicated that
the "Individual-Family" barrier with a score of 0.7066 holds the first rank, while the "Legal-
Regulatory" barrier with a score of 0.4464 stands at the last position.
