Resumen

Human resource analytics has evolved into a strategic tool that can assist companies to make decisions based on data and facts about the human resources management, development and performance. As an increasing number of companies are adopting data-informed HR strategies, it's crucial to grasp the impact of HR analytics on employee engagement and organisational commitment. This research explores how HR Analytics use is connected with employees' engagement and commitment in the organization. It explores how HR practices leveraging analytics can foster a transparent, responsive, motivating environment, such as by monitoring performance, managing talent, supporting learning & development, planning workforce, and establishing employee feedback systems. A quantitative research design was adopted with the use of structured questionnaires to the employees of different industries. Data collected were explored for relationship between the data and variables of study and the strength and significance of the relationship using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis. The results suggest that good use of HR analytics can have a positive impact on employee engagement through enhanced communication, performance recognition, development needs and through fair decision making. Further, greater employee engagement was seen to significantly boost organizational commitment through increased trust, better job satisfaction and increased emotional bonding with organizational objectives. The study also highlights the importance of ethical usage, privacy protection and transparency in the implementation of HR analytics systems. Last, the study reveals the potential benefits of HR analytics in the strategic human resource management for the organizations: improving employee satisfaction, increasing employee productivity, and improving the long-term commitment of employees towards the organization. The results provide HR Professionals, managers and policy makers with ideas on how to leverage analytics in the data-driven landscape to create a highly engaged, committed work force.
