Abstract

The IntelliCode Legal Reference System is meant to simplify and improve access to the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Aimed at legal professionals, students, and the general public, the platform provides a centralized, user-friendly solution that tackles the inefficiencies of conventional approaches such as consulting physical law books or dispersed online sources. The system quickly gets exact and relevant legal information from user-entered keywordsconnectedtolegalterms,crimes,orstatutes.Theplatformoffersacontemporarytechnologystackwith a React-based frontend for an easy user experience, a Spring Boot backend for safe and effective data management, and a SQLite database for organized storage and fast access.Astructured query-based search engine runs user questions, guaranteeing correct matches with the pertinent IPC parts. By simplifying legal research for professionals, simplifying difficult legal ideas for students, and encouraging legal literacy among the general population, this system greatly helps several user groups. It promotes a better awareness of personal rights and obligations under the law.The project finds that an intelligent, centralized system transforms how legal information is accessed and used. Future improvements are mobile apps to provide legal information even more accessible, voice-based search using natural language processing, and extending the database to cover more areas of Indian law.All things considered, the IntelliCode Legal Reference System is a significant advancement in democratizing legal information and making it more accessible for all.
