Blockchain technology in various domains- A Systematic Review

Resumen

Most of the existing applications are centralized at duplicate servers and databases suffer
from a single point of failure leading to corruption or misuse by a single authority. In
recent times, Blockchain is fast becoming the most transformative technology that
provides decentralization used to store and exchange our information without any thirdparty
organization. This study reveals blockchain and its real-time applications. It has
been used in different areas such as e-voting, agriculture, healthcare facilities, sharing
student credentials, banking, and so on. The possibility of applying blockchain in an
application will increase efficiency, security, transparency, and reduced costs. In this
literature survey, information from different sources was collected, which provides a
detailed representative view of blockchain and its impacts. This review gives a clear view
of blockchain technology along with its types, architecture, consensus methods, and
recent trends.
