Resumen
The study aims to demonstrate the isolation and diagnosis of some fungi species and its use in
removing phosphates from wastewater. The samples are collected from the waters of Al-
Kharazi valley inside the University of Mosul. Three fungi species are used for the purpose of
conducting reactors. The study has dealt with the isolation of fungi from the water of the valley
after purification by traditional methods. For the purpose of diagnosing these pure genera by
PCR technique, colonies of fungi are cultured on the medium of potato extract and Potato
Dextrose Agar (PDA). Thus, 3 fungi species are diagnosed, two of which are new undiagnosed
species registered in the gene bank in the name of the researcher, and the third species of fungi
is already known and diagnosed. previously.
